About

If you are reading this, you are probably an SME founder with real assets behind the business, a property investor operating in SG or MY, or someone trying to figure out whether regional growth actually pencils out when you run the numbers yourself.

That is the same set of questions I have been working through for the past fifteen years, first as a business operator and then as an investor. The investing and the operating have never been separate activities. Running a business teaches you how to read a deal. Being an investor keeps you honest about what the numbers actually say.

My core positions are in property across SG and MY, and in asset-backed SMEs with regional operations. I focus on businesses where the asset base gives you a floor, the cross-border structure gives you upside, and the operator in charge has done it before. That last point is harder to find than it sounds.

This site is where I write about what I see. The content loop is: full piece here, short summary on LinkedIn, link back. If you want to follow the work in real time, LinkedIn is the right place.

The AI Side

Separately from the investing work, I have been building a private AI system to run my own businesses. The system handles lease document analysis, financial reconciliation, and investment research, and it runs entirely on local hardware with no data leaving the machine.

I write about this as a practitioner sharing what I tried and what broke, not as an expert with a method to sell. It is a work in progress. The notes are on the Local AI thread.
